3Q (Thank you)- a China blog

 Today was Nolan and Oliver's last day of school, in America.  They loved all the gifts and well wishes from their peers and teachers. I, in particular, loved the thoughtful gifts from Nolan's friends and the signed poster from Oliver's class.  We loved our time at HH and will miss it dearly. We hope our friends will keep in touch!  Hey, welcome to the blog! 3Q is a play on words - 3 in Mandarin Chinese is pronounced "san" so when you put it together you get "san-q"- a fun little pun!  Our family will be living in Shenzhen, China, which is located in Guangdong Province on the South China Sea and is convenient to Hong Kong and Macao.  We'll be living in the Shekou Residential District! I've highlighted it on Google maps for those interested: One of the things our family hopes to do while living in China is travel! In addition to visiting around China, we hope to visit neighboring countries like Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and more!  While living in China, Nolan and Oliver will be attending what's called an international school, a mix of nationalities learning in English and Chinese.  This blog will be a diary of sorts for our time in China, as well as any other places we end up living in after our time in China is up.  Happy Adventuring ! - Kristin
